How can I care for patients on Medicare and Medicaid with Rocket Doctor?
Rocket Doctor streamlines the credentialing and payor enrollment process, including Medicare and Medicaid, ensuring you can start serving these patients quickly and easily. Our system simplifies the process to reduce administrative headaches while expanding access to care for vulnerable populations.
How does payment/reimbursement work?
The practice group considers a service period to align with the calendar month. At the end of each service period, the practice group’s administrative team will calculate the total collections owed to you and create an invoice on your behalf, less the practice group’s fees, to be billed to the practice group. This invoice will be shared with you by the 15th of the month following the service period. The practice group will then pay any funds owed to you by the end of that month. For example, you will receive an invoice on February 15th for services rendered during January, and the practice group will remit payment to you by February 28th.
How long are appointment slots?
Typically, visits last anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes. We value physician autonomy and you get to pick the appointment length to best suit the needs of you and your patients.
Does Rocket Doctor only accept generalist providers?
No, Rocket Doctor also accepts specialists. If you’re a specialist, Rocket Doctor can empower you to extend your reach to patients that break geographical boundaries.
